This page exists because of our recent experience with Lilah.

In the fall of 2025, we shared something with our online community — it was discovered that our sweet Lilah had a growth plate that never fully closed in her elbow causing a chronic limp, and she needed surgery to repair it. It was scary and overwhelming and expensive and hard. And we weren't sure what to do or where to turn.

What happened next is something we will never forget.

Our Bear Pack and online friends — people we had never met in person, people from all over the world who knew Lilah only through a screen — showed up. They shared her fundraiser. They donated. They sent messages of love and support. They proved something we already believed but needed to be reminded of — that this community is real, that these friendships matter and that bear hugs truly do have the power to help us get through the hard days of this thing called life.

Lilah had her surgery in February 2026 and is still on her recovery journey. She is doing beautifully — dramatic as ever, stealing hearts and reminding us every single day why we do what we do. 🐾

Because of what our community did for us, we wanted to create a space to pay it forward. This page is dedicated to members of our Bear Pack and our wider online community who need a little extra support — for a beloved pet, a medical crisis, or any other challenge life has thrown their way.
